Local Nets

Our ARES organization is the Fayette-Coweta Amateur Radio Emergency Service, which conducts its weekly net Tuesdays at 2100 hours (9:00 p.m.) local time on the KK4GQ 145.21 repeater in conjunction with the Fayette County ARC and other local radio clubs, and is linked to repeaters in Fayette, Coweta and other neighboring counties.

This ARES net is also available via the N4OME 147.165 repeater in Madras, just north of Newnan. This repeater has a positive offset of 600 KHz, and a 131.8 PL tone. EchoLink users may also check in via KI4NGD-R, node 317195.

Georgia SKYWARN severe weather nets are conducted when there is a threat of severe weather in the state of Georgia. Coweta County hams can hear this net via either the N4OME 147.165 repeater or on EchoLink via KI4NGD-R, node 317195.
